Two inter-agency politico-military crisis games set in China-India region in 1970 played concurrently by high-level officials from intelligence, military, and government agencies from 11 January to 8 February 1966. The games were designed to educate participants and officials reading the final game report. The games were meant to reinforce officials' understanding of policy programs, resource allocation, and strategy and appraisal contingency plans applied to the games. The game tested officials' reactions to the private "Chinese" nuclear threat to attack Indian cities if India tried to regain Sikkim. The games involved 13 different teams, comprised of approximately 6 to 10 players in each team, with 95 players in total. 6 teams played NU I, 6 teams played NU II, and 1 team was the control group for both NU I & II.
