DECISIVE OPERATIONS is a wargame for military professionals and wargame hobbyists alike. Designed to be played by two players and under two hours but still forces players to make difficult meaningful decisions at the US Army Division level. To plan future operations while managing current operations. This paper provides the basis and rationale for the modeling decisions made by the researcher in the development of this wargame. Players will take on the roles of the US and PLA Army Commanders, immersing players in the commander's' decision-making process.
